House Rules
Emerald Shadows uses a different feeding mechanic from the standard rules. Mostly the rules remain as they are, and if you're a bagger that remains unchanged. When you feed from a person however, whether they be mortal or otherwise, choose from these options:
- Control The Beast: Spend 1 Willpower, sate 1 Hunger. This represents exerting great effort to control the Beast, because it wants to rip into your victim and tear them apart. Can't reduce Hunger below the minimum for your blood potency.
- Risk The Beast: Instead of spending effort to control the Beast, you can let it feed. Roll a number of Blood Dice equal to your current Hunger + the Discipline Power Bonus of your blood potency. Count the successes, and reduce your Hunger by an equivalent amount. If this reduces your Hunger to 0, your victim dies.
- Save the Victim: If you roll high enough to kill your victim, you can choose to spare them. Spend 2 Willpower; your Hunger is reduced to the minimum for your blood potency, rather than 0, but the victim does not die.
